Tired from the day s hard work, he fell asleep soon.
= Because he wast tired from the day s hard work, he fell asleep soon.
When heated, water can be changed into steam.
= When water is heated, water can be changed into steam.
Given another chance, he can do it better.
= If he is given another chance, he can do it better.
Defeated again, we did not lose heart.
= Though we were defeated again, we did not lose heart.
Lost in thought, he almost ran into the car in front of him.
Although printed ( = Although the book has been printed) many times, the book still sells well in the market.
Once visited ( = Once the city is visited), the city will never be forgotten.
