四、 写作小助手———呼吁信

呼吁信通常指提倡或呼吁开展某项有意义的活动、推行某种行之有效的做法。 呼吁倡导的内容具有广泛性和
推广意义。
写作思路:
第一步,交代背景、原因和目的;

第二步,写明呼吁的具体内容和要求;
第三步,结尾要表达呼吁者的决心和希望。
常用句式表达:
1. I m writing to appeal to. . . for. . . 我写信是为了……呼吁……
2. I m writing the letter to call on. . . , since some of you may know that. . . 我写信是为了呼吁……,既然你们一些人可
能知道……
3. It is obligatory that. . . ……是必须的。

4. Hopefully you will join in the action and extend warm help to. . . 希望您能参与这项行动,并对……伸出援手。
5. Your kindness/ attention/ effort / generousness/ donation / participation will be highly valued. 您的善心/ 关注/ 努力/ 慷

慨/ 捐助/ 参与将会被高度珍视。
6. It is high time that we should take immediate measures to. . . 该是我们立即采取措施去……的时候了。
7. Let s join our hands and take immediate action together to. . . 让我们携起手来,即刻采取行动去……
8. In my opinion, we should be. . . and spare no effort to. . . because only in this way can we. . . 在我看来,我们应该……,
并且不遗余力地……,因为只有这样我们才能……

范例
假如你是李华,关注到这样一则报道:由于温度升高,无处觅食的北极熊入侵了俄罗斯北部村庄。 请你就环境

恶化问题,用英语给联合国环境规划署写一封电子邮件。 内容包括:
1. 表示震惊; 2. 表达担忧; 3. 呼吁采取行动。
注意:
1. 词数 80 左右;

2. 可以适当增加细节,以使行文连贯。

I am writing to you about hungry polar bears invading a northern village in Russia for food.
The news comes as a great shock. The living environment of the polar bears is worsening so rapidly that they have
